How did I get into radio? I was Motorway Mel, The Sticker Spy on a radio station near Portsmouth with Scott Mills who was a small work experience boy. I gave out a lot of Shell petrol. I did want to become a cricket commentator for Test Match Special, but couldn't face all the chocolate cake.
Why do I love wine? It tastes lovely. Anything else to add?!
When did I last go on holiday? Does camping count? In April in North Devon. SOOOOOOO cold!!! The last hot one was to the Gambia just before Christmas. I loved every second.
What was my last on-air cock - up? Doing the traffic and travel news this week for Chris Criddle. I had to dive into the studio at the last moment and left a man on the phone talking about female orgasms.
