Who do you think you are?
I'm Graham Alexander, writer and broadcaster and I "do" the news on Saturday mornings. How did I get into radio? Through student radio at the University of Bath during my Chemistry degree. I then studied media law at Cardiff and went on to work for a number of local and national radio stations, did a stint on TV and finally writing for magazines and newspapers. What do I do in real life? Apparently, I have a radio voice. Something I've always denied but secretly know that I sound a lot older on air than I do in person. Just for a laugh, I'm planning to say my vows in my radio voice when getting married in late 2008. Don't tell my fiance Kirsty though. I'll just have to make sure she goes first! Why did the chicken cross the road? Don't ask me - I was helping a little old lady cross further down. (Good deed done for today - what else did being in the Scouts teach me?!!) When will you be on next? Next Saturday morning from 7am. Love rugby and/or football? We'll have previews for all the weekend's sport in the next hour. If you don't hear me on the radio then hopefully I'm on holiday - I think that travelling is the best education you can get. Where's the brush? It's behind the door. * * HaHa, I can't believe our web team put that up - you can tell a child of the 80's (just) instantly!
